Re.: Undergraduate Scholarship Students Admission Guidance for Sun Moon University
May God and True Parents’ blessings and love be with all regions, mission nations and providential organizations.
Sun Moon University is planning to run a scholarship program for its undergraduate course for foreign students for the purpose of attracting promising youths from UN member nations and educating them to become future leaders of their respective countries. This is a request to each region and mission nation to cooperate in recommending one candidate from each nation who meets the requirements below for this scholarship.
1. Scholarship student Requirements
Student among graduates of high school within the top 30% rank in their nation and recommended by the Minister of Education or equivalent government office
OR
Student among graduates of high school within the top 5% rank in their school and recommended by the principal of his/her high school.
2. Scholarship condition:
1) Beneficiary: Exemption of the tuition fee for 5 years (1 year for Korean Language studying course, 4 years for undergraduate course). And it will be applied continuously for 5 years, if the student takes over 18 credits per semester and maintain 3.5 (B+) or higher grades. During the language courses, student has to attend the class without absence. Also student has to pass the university entrance examination for foreign students which will be conducted at the end of the 2nd semester of the Korean language course.
2) Student can stay in the dormitory
(Note: Students are responsible for paying accommodation and meal fees).
