On July 20, Rev. Eiji Tokuno, FFWPU-Japan President visited the Japanese Red Cross on behalf of Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon, and delivered an emergency relief donation to Hiroyuki Ohno, the Chief of the Volunteering Promotion Office from the Operations Sector's Partnership Promotion Department.

FFWPU Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon Donated 200 Million Won to West Japan After Suffering from Heavy Rains

Family Federation for World Peace and Unification (FFWPU) announced on the 20th that Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon donated 200 million won (20 million yen) to the Japanese Red Cross, in order to assist the victims of the heavy rains in Western Japan, as well as to restore the areas affected by the disaster.

The FFWPU's Peace Volunteer Group started volunteering at Mabicho, Kurashikishi, Hiroshima since July 16.

The FFWPU also revealed its plans to begin volunteer efforts in other affected areas.

Recently, it was disclosed that there were more than 225 people killed or missing, due to the torrential rains in Western Japan, and that there are around 4,500 people living as refugees...
