The Fifty-Fifth Anniversary of True Parents’ Holy Wedding & Fifty Years of European Mission Work
A Special Meeting with Parents of Blessed Families with Many Children and a National Pastor's Assembly
On April 27, the day before setting off for a speaking tour of Europe, True Mother held a banquet in Cheon Jeong Gung beginning at 5:00 PM to commemorate the fifty-fifth anniversary of True Parents' Holy Wedding and fifty years of mission work in Europe. At the banquet, True Mother said,
"What do you think life in heaven will be like? We should go there after learning and knowing a lot on earth. That is why as a True Parent of Heaven, Earth and Humankind, I plan -- on many opportunities in the future -- to show you how to act and how to live as we move toward Cheon Il Guk. The kingdom of heaven is a place where everyone practices true love within heavenly law and order."
Through her message, she said she would set the example for us in practicing true love. Following Mother's message, Young Hwi Kim, chairman of the Cheon Il Guk Parliament, explained the significance of the Holy Wedding and the providential course True Parents have followed. The Holy Wedding occurred fifty-five years ago in what was then the headquarters church in Cheongpa-dong, Seoul. Before making a congratulatory toast, True Mother's aide, Hyo Yul Kim (Peter Kim), expressed how our efforts will decide whether we hasten the arrival of the day that Heaven and True Parents have hoped for.
A day earlier, True Mother had hosted a banquet in Cheon Jeong Gung for many blessed families with five or more children. True Mother told them, "True Parents, through indemnity, caused human history, which had gone astray, to turn the corner and have moved it to return to its original state. That is why in perfecting the family, no option existed but to adjust to providential numbers." She recollected the difficulties she went through to give birth to fourteen children in twenty years. She then introduced the Asian regional president's report on the powerful earthquake that had hit Nepal on the very morning of that day. According to the report, among those that were preparing for the Blessing Ceremony, some lost their homes but none lost their lives. True Mother then emphasized that we actively carry out our tribal messiah responsibilities upon the realization that only our True Parents' ideology can provide a broad and level road toward humanity's future. She emphasized that we educate our children well so that none falls behind.
